Our pedometer loan/pedometer purchase program is designed to give genuine members of the press an opportunity to experience and evaluate the quality of our products for themselves. Ranging in price from $15 up to $600, some of our physical activity measurement devices are too valuable to be given away, thus meriting this program.
To participate in the program, we request the following information in writing on corporate letterhead (which can be sent via fax to 816-373-9929 or mailed to NEW-LIFESTYLES Media Relations at 5201 NE Maybrook Road, Lee's Summit, MO 64064-1122 ):
. Contact name, shipping address and phone number
. Type of story planned and how NEW-LIFESTYLES pedometers or programs will be featured
. Timing of when the story will run
. Credit card account information
Consistent with other reputable companies, NEW-LIFESTYLES requires credit card account information with some pedometer loan requests. The credit card information will only be used if the loaned product is damaged or is not returned for any reason. In the case that the unit needs to be replaced to facilitate future media requests, the credit card will be billed for the cost of the lost unit. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
We are willing to be flexible in order to accommodate deadlines and special circumstances. Typically, we ask reviewers to abide by a standard 30-day loan period.
